shortcode not working

  • Has anyone run into an issue where the shortcode just doesn’t work? You go to the post and actually see the shortcode with the brackets instead of what it is supposed to output? And if so, was it a plugin conflict or some change in functions.php? I’m jumping into a project that has already been started, so i was hoping that i could hear from someone who has had this issue before. Before I start deactiavting everything in sight ??

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
