[Plugin: Inline Upload] Only viewable logged in as wp-admin

  • I’m able to use the inline upload plugin when I view a preview of the page I insert the [inline_upload] tag in. Once I log out of the wp-admin interface and go to the page I am not able to see the select file or upload button. Anyone else seen this? Running the latest version of the plugin with WordPress 3.0.1.

    The default configuration of the plugin is to work with administrator role. So, if you visit the page as a guest, the plugin will not work (for security reasons). In order to change this, you need to use the plugin attribute “uploadrole”. For instance, if you want everyone to be able to upload files, then you must insert the following shortcode to your page:

    [inline_upload uploadrole=”all”]
