[Plugin: JW Player]: Problems with inserting JWPlayer via Media Management and

  • Hi,

    I’m trying to embed self-produced videos to our website. We are using WordPress 2.9.1 so I thought the JW Player Plugin for WordPress should work the easiest way. All videos are SWF-files

    Unfortunately I have problems with embeding the videos:

    1. There is no selection in the Media Management where I can chosse the Player
    2. There is no button “insert JW Player”

    So I tried to insert the video via shortcode:

    [jwplayer config=”IB Player” file=”https://www.inbetween.de/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/Basisvideo_veroeffentlicht.swf”]

    Unfortunately with this the player in my preview is showing:
    task queue failed at step 5 playlist could not be loaded due to crossdomain policy restrictions

    Can somebody help me with that?

  • Try taking the quotes out, so this would be the shorcode
    [jwplayer config=IB Player file=https://www.inbetween.de/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/Basisvideo_veroeffentlicht.swf]
    rather than what you have now.
    I hope this solves your problem.
