How to show ONLY top-level pages in the menu?
-
When I create a “Tennis” page as a child of a “Sport” page, “TENNIS” appears next to “SPORT” in the main menu. I absolutely do not want this, because there are so many sports pages under the parent “Sport” page that the main menu would be very cluttered.
On the “Sport” page there are links to the numerous sports child pages, so I don’t want them to be displayed on the main menu as well.
I want only the “Home” page and the top-level pages to be displayed as links in the main menu. I can’t see any option in the WordPress interface to do this. How can it be done, please?
