Can't delete widget from sidebar.

    I am unfamiliar with editing templates. Can someone be specific on what I should do to eliminate the archives and Meta and search boxes that appear on this page?

    The theme is 2010 weaver. I am so new at this, I did the tutorials and all. It would seem to me that this would simply be a widget that I can remove. But I can’t find it in widgets.
