• Maybe I’m doing something wrong but I can’t seem to get images placed properly into a text area using the media picker. For example, if I have 4 paragraphs of text in the text area and I want a thumbnail to the left of the 1st and 3rd paragraph it always ends up inserting the images in the top left of the text area (ie. ignoring where my cursor was prior to opening up the media picker and just placing the images at the top of the textarea). It doesn’t do this in the regular “content” box for the page/post but it does it in all of the custom field textarea fields.

    I have the wpautop box checked, and the textarea cft settings are as follows:

    [Description]
    type = textarea
    rows = 4
    cols = 40
    tinyMCE = true
    htmlEditor = true
    mediaButton = true

    Any ideas? Does this happen to anyone else? I’m just trying to get the textarea of a custom field to function the same way the regular page/post content box does.

    Thanks for your help.

    To clarify, the issue involves the “insert into post” command from the media library into a cft textarea field. No matter where you put your cursor, whether it’s to insert an image in paragraph 1 or 3 or 4, it seems to insert all images at the start of the 1st paragraph (ie. the very top of the textarea). Does this happen for anyone else?
