Is WP the right way to go for me???

Im new to WP, but have taken up a small projecct to put together a website promoting a small business venture (baking and selling celebration cakes and cupcakes)… Ive had a bit of experience setting up and running a simple holiday blog, so am learning the basics….

I like the idea of having a blog element to the site, so we dan update on what we are doing, and allow customers to add to it to… but I dont know if WP is right for the whole website, and would like some opinions…

I want about 4 static pages, the homepage which will mainly display images of what we provide, to entice people in… then a general About syle page, who we are, what we do…. another page about the sort of things we offer, maybe image gallery style, and prices etc, T&C’s etc..then a blog, that we can provide infor on projects we are working on, images, and get customers comments etc… and a contact us page.

I just dont know whether WP could deliver something like this, or whether I would be better off using a different CMS for a more general website style….

Would welcome any thoughts….
