• I was trying to add something to the functions.php file in the twenty ten theme, & now I am getting an error message even though I took out what code I had added. At this point, rather than trying to troubleshoot the error message, I think it might be easier to just re-upload a new functions.php file. Any idea where I can get it?

  • Don’t edit the Twenty Ten theme! Your changes will be over-written the next time you upgrade WordPress or the theme. For this reason, it is recommended that you consider creating a child theme for your customisations.

Try re-uploading a fresh copy of the theme using FTP.

Oh no! I’ve already modified several of the other files. How often do you have to do an upgrade?? ??

I did find the functions.php file & FTP’d it and it works just fine now…
