Removing Posts all together

Hi All,
Just made the jump from Drupal to WordPress – and it’s fantastic!

I have had a look around for an answer to this question, appologies if it’s been asked before!

The website I’m using is a completely static website, with no need for posts, all I really want is for users to create pages and be able to edit them, new pages will be few and far between.

To avoid confusion for the “authors” using the website I’m trying to remove the ability to “post” from the dashboard, but it is proving harder than I thought.
