Contact form not showing

  • Hello, I’m trying to set a contact form following these directions and, first of all, I don’t have that button in my editor, second, if I copy the shortcodes:

    [contact-form]
[contact-field label="Name" type="name" required="true" /]
[contact-field label="Email" type="email" required="true" /]
[contact-field label="Comment" type="textarea" required="true" /]
[/contact-form]

    then I see the shortcodes themselves in my page, I uninstalled the Akismet plugin as comments are disabled in the site, could it be the reason?

    Those instructions are for WordPress.com blogs, not self-hosted sites built on WordPress. You need to install a contact plugin such as contact form 7 & follow the relevant instructions for the plugin.
