[Plugin: The Events Calendar] Today's event not displaying on front page

  • Using WP 3.0.4 with Piano Black theme 2.2 and Events Calendar 1.6.4 Everything seems to work fine with the exception of an event appearing on the front page when it is happening on that day,

    Have resorted to making the event post sticky on the day as a work around but many of the events require me to be attending them so would prefer Events Calendar to work properly and display the event automatically.

    Any ideas, please?

  • I’m seeing this as well. I’m using wordpress 3.0.4, events calendar 1.6.4 and the Twenty Ten 1.1 theme.

    Hmm… get’s even worse. I have an event occurring this evening. The event is already not showing up in my sidebar. it’s not showing up in the list of current events. I have to go into calendar view to see that the event’s even still going to happen. Is this plugin thinking UTC time while my blog settings are actually PST?

    WP 3.0.5
    Suffusion Theme
    Timezone = UTC/GMT

    Same problem. Today’s events not showing in sidebar. They only show up in calendar view…

    Now upgraded to 3.1 and changed theme to Suffusion. Still have problem plus anther one, described in a separate topic.
