Problem with Sider posts

Ok. I having a problem. i install wordpress and the Astronova theme. now when i went into the Astronova options to set my news to a category, it work find. This was after i had everything the way it was at the start and i did not wanted to choose a news from one of my pages to display on the home page, I had it set so it would deplay news from each of my category. Now after i went into the Astronova option and click on select a category and set it to select a category and click save, no news are showing up on Sliders. but when i pick a category, news will show up. What did i do wrong to get no news to show up. How do i get it back to the way it was.

I hope i am understanding everyone here.
