unable to reinstall wordpress using auto install
-
I initially was able to install word press automatically, then when i attempted to install LANDSCAPE theme i got this error:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Then it mentioned about Lanscape being a child theme so i realized i needed Genesis first. However, i could not access the admin link to my wordpress site due to the error above. So i deleted WORDPRESS and decided to start over from scratch. When i deleted wordpress and reinstalled, i got the error i gave you ealier that i had to delete those folders. I am looking at my server/host and it shows i was able to successfully delete wordpress and there are NO CURRENT installation indicated.
Please help me just delete the current installation of wordpress so i can start from an auto wordpress installation. It tells me i have no current wordpress installation and when i do the auto install it says up to now:
The installation can not be completed:
– You chose to install in the main directory of the domain antoniandon.com, but there are conflicting filenames, therefore we can not proceed. Following filenames already exist in the main directory of the domain antoniandon.com (path=”/home/antonian/public_html/”).You must manually remove these files before proceeding with auto-installation:
wp-admin
wp-content
wp-includesClick on the browser’s Back button to fix reported errors.
When i attempt to manually uninstall the said folder via Filezilla, it says i do not have the permission to do so.
