Nor WP, nor plugins send e-mails
-
I have a blog https://mushroompalace.com
I experience the following problem:
None of my plugins send e-mails. For example the plugins “Reply me”, “contact form 7” and “Comment Reply Notification”. I tested all of these.I then lost my wordpress password and tried getting it back by clicking “Lost your password?” on the login screen. I got this error: “The e-mail could not be sent.
Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function…”I’m hosted with Godaddy and this is what they said when I contacted them about this:
“Thank you for contacting Online Support. I apologize for any confusion this is an option you have to change on your WordPress configurations. I have provided a link that may help you with this.
https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Function_Reference/wp_mail
I would recommend using your favorite search engine for more information on this.”
I do not understand what this codex means. Can anyone specifically tell me what I have to do to fix this very irritating problem?
