The Rogue Nomad

  • I finally got off my lazy butt and completely redid my blog theme since the old layout wasn’t compatible with WordPress 1.5. This is my very first one, almost from scratch and well… what do you guys think?

  • a wonderful two column theme – i really love the use of the colours, spacing and so on. The addition of the random quote and it’s presentation is nice too. Great work. I notcied this, however:

    Parse error: parse error, unexpected ‘;’ in /home/kyris134/public_html/wp-content/themes/red/sidebar.php on line 10

    At the bottom of the page. Perhaps, you can lend a hand since you’ve managed to start a theme from scratch with me? I have the design, the css, just not the code ??

    Jinsan, thanks for pointing out that error. I’ve fixed that up, so it should be alright now.

    I really should stop posting when I’m sleepy ?? I should’ve clarified the “from scratch” remark; I meant I didn’t take a pre-existing layout and tweak it. More like looking at the classic layout’s code for reference, then jamming them together with my own css to see what happens.

    So I’m not as, err, qualified as you think *sheepish*

    I like it. Good job
