[Plugin: Quick Post Widget] pdf upload query

I am testing Quick Post Widget for uploading pdfs. When I use the visual editor as you suggest, I can see an ‘insert/edit image’ button or ‘insert/edit embedded media’. With both of these I am limited to looking for files with particular suffixes. Can you advise?
