I have 7 active events with email notifications on. When someone registers for event 7 the email confirmation for event 7 sends the information for event 6 or 4 instead of event 7. Though the information entered into the database is correct, it’s entered for event 7.

This has given me a right headache because I have 10 persons who have received confirmation emails that they are going to attend the hamburg event, when they have entered info for the new York event. I’ve checked the database and the event info says new York, not hamburg.

My question is, why would the mail say hamburg and not hamburg.

Do you know what the problem is, please.

Nope, I’m using cforms 2 now which works for me.

This feature has been fixed for a long time in Event Espresso.

We should work together to provide a better solution for these people. I sent you an email, but never heard back from you.

nvm just got your reply ??

Great to hear this will be fixed. I am having issues now though causing some confusion with registrations for upcoming events. It seems like a tough road to try and switch plugins and this point and yet I can’t have folks getting email confirmation for the wrong workshops.

When will the new version be out or is there a workaround in the meanwhile?

    You could disable email confirmations.

The database records the information from the registration forms for each event correctly. Its only the confirmation emails which get in a muddle.

It is also the email sent to me telling me someone has registered for an event. We have a large fund raiser we just opened for registration, I am concerned this will cause lots of confusion. I may just break down and do the espresso licensed version if the switch will be smooth.

The transition is usually pretty smooth. Just be sure to back up your files and database before upgrading. There are upgrade scripts that will copy everything over. These are located in the help/support page of the Event Espresso admin.

The support team is pretty responsive if you should have any questions or something goes wrong.

I want to keep the confirmation email personalized with the specific event title.

Is there a fix that can be applied to the current version of this plugin?
