3.0.5 Fatal Error "Out of Memory"

I am trying to update my website and I keep getting this error message:
Downloading update from https://www.ads-software.com/wordpress-3.0.5.zip…
Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 29622272) (tried to allocate 2976402 bytes) in ../wp-includes/class-http.php on line 1408
How can I fix this problem? I haven’t gotten this error before. Thanks!
