    Hi there,
    I attempted to remove comment text in Arethemia wordpress theme using comments.php here:

    <?php else : // comments are closed ?>
    <!– If comments are closed. –>
    <p class=”nocomment”>Comments are closed.</p> –>

    It was temporarily successful in removing the text at the bottom of the post pages, but then after an hour or so this error message came up:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘>’ in /www/sites/64e/c52/www.theindiebrandingcollective.co.uk/web/wp-content/themes/arthemia/comments.php on line 53

    I can’t figure out what i’ve done and i need to remove this error message from my site and the comments if possible.

    Can anyone help?

    Remove the –> after your closing paragraph tag.

    Hi there,
    I had no luck with doing that i’m afraid. The error is still there.
