• Hi all,

I’m having problems with Facebook Connect in that when I click on the ‘Connect’ button the Facebook box states ‘Invalid API key specified’… I’ve double, triple, quadruple checked all the API details and they’re all correct – even functioning on other Facebook plugins…

Having looked at the query URL, it gives a value of ‘undefined’ for the API key. I’d assume that’s the problem.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

    Many thanks in advance.

OK – that problem has gone, but I have a new one…

If I’m not logged in to Facebook, there is no button, just text saying ‘Connect’.

If I’m logged in to Facebook, a Logout button is present, though it doesn’t appear to function. If I then log out of Facebook it says the following and breaks the site: Error: failed to get your email from Facebook!

The above is all in Chrome. Internet Explorer never sees a button – just ‘Connect’ or ‘Logout’ text. I’ve put the jquery bit into the head, though it’s not doing any good sadly.

    Any thoughts?

Hi, can be javascript issue: jquery not being present. I’ve just tagged 1.4, try it (should be available soon) and let me know if that will fix the situation.
