Changing color of top bar above header image

  • Hello- I have been trying to change the color of the top bar above my header in the twenty ten theme and haven’t yet figured out how to do it in my css style page. The original color scheme was the tan and gray and it was easy to change the color of the menu bar, but the top bar not so much. I tried editing the menu and the custom header in the style editor and that doesn’t seem to work. Here is my site:

  • this is mainly the background color of #header; a small botttom strip is the border top color of #branding img

    as your theme is a modification of twenty ten, it might have a certain way to edit the styles.

    you’re right, i’m using the twenty ten weaver theme. i changed the tag to reflect that, hopefully someone who is working with that particular theme will know how to edit it!
