• Argh!

I’ve got 1.5 installed, and it’s running beautifully – except for commenting, which it doesn’t allow. Any attempt to leave a comment (locally [127.0.0.1] or remotely) results in a 404 page. I’ve got mod_rewrite on, I’m using the .htaccess included with 1.5, I’ve got read/write permissions set correctly (I assume – I can post, after all ;-), but I can’t figure out what the fsck is going on.

Any help figuring out the problem at A Different Lemming would be greatly appreciated!

  • It’s a problem with your custom permalinks, since the same error occurs when clicking on the post title, whereas this works:

I’d double-check the rewrite rules in your .htaccess .

    Okay, got it straightened out.

Wee, small, technical detail: in the Apache configuration, I kinda left out the “Options FollowSymLinks” and “AllowOverride FileInfo”. Got those set, and Life Is Good(tm) ??
