[Plugin: WP Customer Reviews] Unable to remove reviews.

Update: Just upgraded to the latest version and I’m still having the same problem.

I’m not sure what the issue is. Only approved reviews should be showing up. Did you ever approve the reviews that are showing up on the page?

Try “Delete Forever” and then goto the review page and see if it shows up still. If the review is still showing up, then your browser or blog are caching the reviews page.

Just to be clear the problem only started after I approved the comment. It did not publicly appear befor that. Now that it’s live I just can’t seem to get rid of it.

I tried to “delete forever” and while the review no longer shows up in the backend, it still shows up on the actual page.

As for cashing it is not the browser I have tired in multiple. Could be the blog I guess but I’m not aware of any caching type plugins.

Also the link back to the plugin page on your site shows up even when the box is unchecked.

Maybe a plug in conflict?

If the review no longer shows up in the backend, it does not exists in the database any longer. The only explanation is something that is caching on the blog or web host.

Could you provide a list of plugins and which theme you are using?

The “powered by link” option is broken and will be fixed in 1.1.6 which will be released today.

Don’t have time list all plugins right (I will post them later today or tomorrow)now.

I just upgraded to the latest version and a new issue has come up. Any email address entered comes back as being invalid when the submit button is hit. I have had a few people try this and they all encounter the same problem.

Good catch on the email address issue. It has been fixed in 1.1.7 — can’t believe how this didn’t pass my inspection.

I added some more update-caches-on-updated-reviews code in.. so see if that helps your issues. If not, I would be really interested in what plugins, themes are running and maybe even the URL of the blog so I can see if I can get it to update for me.

Ok looks like that last update solved my problems. It could also have been something else Ibut either way the plugin is now working as advertised.

Re the email glitch YW!

I’d like to make two feature suggestions if you don’t mind.

1) I think it would be great if there was an options to include reviewer gravatars on the review page. They already are being displayed on the aproval page.

2) Also a digit would be nice.
