W3 Total Cache – Add CNAME button
-
Hello,
I have two questions about the Add CNAME button in the cdn section of the plugin. By the way I am using the self-hosted cdn settings.
If you set up the first cdn, lets call it cdn1.domain.com and wanted to add additional cdn’s like cdn2.domain.com, cdn3.domain.com where would you input the ftp hostname, ftp username, ftp password and path for the additional cdn’s?
Also when you click on the Add CNAME button, the first one says “reserved for css”, second one is “reserved for js in <head>” so besides the credentials to access those domains how do you tell the plugin what files go where?
Awhile back I read somewhere, about an _htaccess file that was located inside wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/ini/_htaccess which in theory would allow you to input those settings manually and then the file would be moved to the root of the cdn. But I can’t locate the file anywhere.
For the record I am using the development version of the plugin.
Thanks in advance for your replies.
