Please help – error msg when attempting to edit my post

    When I try to edit a mistake in a post I published on Tuesday, I repeatedly receive an error message, after WP “thinks” for 5-7 minutes. I go to edit post, make the correction in the text, click Update and then recieve this message (again, after waiting at least 5 mins):

    ERROR
    The requested URL could not be retrieved

    The following error was encountered:

    ?Read Timeout
    The system returned:

    [No Error]A Timeout occurred while waiting to read data from the network. The network or server may be down or congested. Please retry your request.

    I use IE v.8, I’m not having problems with any other website and I only have one plugin (Add to Any bar). Here is a link to my site: https://www.concordialm.org/blog/ – Any direction would be appreciated, thanks.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
