Long Lag time

    Hi there,

    I was wondering if it was normal to experience a slow lag time after updating anything in the Admin section. I’m trying to build a new site but each new plugin, widget or change I make takes a good 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

    Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to about it?

    Its not my internet connection. Everything is running smoothly on other sites.

    No, that is not normal. WordPress 3.1 is significantly faster for most people.

    Disable your plugins, find the one causing the slowdown.
