install of themes and plugins stalls on download

    setting up a new blog for my wife and she is trying to install new themes and various plugins, but each time she does the install, it hangs on the downloading screen. why would it be doing this? any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Try adding AddType x-mapp-php5 .php to the top of your WordPress .htaccess file.
