Where to locate plugin? – re: interactive educational flash card tool

    Good day,

    I have a problem! If anyone can help that would be awesome ??

    Me:
    – Planning for small business idea – professional exam preparation services
    – Want to use WP as CMS
    – WP 3.1 – installed
    – newbie, designer

    Problem:
    -I cannot locate a WordPress plugin that can generate interactive “Flash Cards” for customers.
    – I assume WP can handle this kind of feature – that it comes down to locating it.
    – my website is not yet developed, we’re in the planning stage and stuck on this ‘flash card’ problem

    “Searched first”:
    – google advanced
    – wp forums, codex, plugins
    – looked around for commercial developers offerings, but nothing
    – extremely convoluted search terms – as you can imagine the search terms “flash”, “card”, “memory”, “learning”, etc… don’t help at all!
    – I do not want 3rd party applications (ie. flashcarddb.com/) – I want to offer a clean application directly on my site

    Business Model Plan:
    – Use WP as CMS
    – Offer digital downloads + online interactive learning tools (I host, not 3rd party)
    – Offer membership with access to online learning tools
    – professional looking tools
    – business is on a bootstrapped budget, we need it to be free or cheap!

    Assistance:
    – Does anyone know of a plugin that will solve my problem – free or cheap?
    – Do you have any advice/insights as to how I might find a solution?

    Follow up
    – I promise to follow up if find an answer! I have wasted too much time searching and would love to help others avoid the run around ??

    Hi,

    I’m trying to start a similar project for english language students in Japan. I’ve been looking at using anki flash card software but it seems i would need permission and there would be some difficulties. I know what you mean, it seems like there should be a pretty simple option out there. Like a simple plugin. Let me know if you have found anything. I’ll do the same if I do.

    It can display tab-deliminated UTF-8 text file from your media library as flashcards. Try it and see if it works on your WordPress instance?
