3.1 broke jQuery in IE8

    On our development site, we upgraded to version 3.1 and it has broke every use of jQuery in Internet Explorer 8. Everything works fine in Firefox (and IE8 Compatibility mode)- but in IE8, all jQuery functionality is gone.

    There are now javascript errors in prototype.js, jquery.js, lightbox.js and every other javascript file that is being called.

  • have you disabled plugins to test?

    There are many conflicts popping up in incompatible plugins

    [EDIT: just noticed you discovered it was the Lightbox 2 plugin giving you trouble on SE)
