    3.1. doesn’t support widgets? I cann’t save any text widget in positions. They dissapears from the site and admin-panel. Default theme, don’t have any plugins, clear installation. What the problem?

    Yes, it does.

    Have you tried:

    – checking through Troubleshooting WordPress 3.1 – Master List

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    If it is important – text cyrillic.

    Resolved. My problem was in php.ini:

    mbstring.func_overload = 2
    mbstring.internal_encoding = UTF-8

    This need to comment out.
