• Hello,

I am using the Styleicious 1.11 theme and have a couple of questions.

Can the back ground color be changed to white, that when I add images the images white back ground does not stand out?.

The main question is – Amazon widgets can be added, when you make another post on another page the same widget appears.

Is it possible to change the widget for individual pages to show items on the topic?. eg being able to have different widgets each page?.

I have tried contacting the themes author at his website, but links inactive.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thankyou,

    Ashley H.

You mean you want the background to be transparent? As far as I know, that’s not possible. But with some Amazon widgets you can set the color to whatever you want. You can select a color that matches your website’s background.

If you want Amazon items that match your pages content, the best way to go about it is by including the Amazon Omakase widget in your sidebar. The Omakase is contextual — meaning, it knows what topic and what keywords you’re using in your content and it displays relevant Amazon products. It works automatically, you don’t have to tell it anything.

To insert a different widget entirely per each blog post, you’d have to do that manually when you’re writing the post. There are plugins that assist you in inserting widgets, like WordPress Amazon Associate.

When it comes to Amazon widgets in WordPress, there are a lot of different ways to go about inserting and utilizing them. I recommend you give this resource a look.
