I attempted to upgrade wordpress through the admin panel, but it was unsuccessful. While I can still access my blog, I receive the following error when trying to access the admin panel:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_network_admin() in /home/lefty/public_html/bookish/wp-admin/admin-header.php on line 16

I don’t know enough about the back end to go in and fix the php on my own. But I’m assuming part of the upgrade worked; is there a way to figure out how much? I can do the rest manually.

    Site is: https://bookish.quasigeek.net

nothing will be hurt by uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes again

Okay I replaced those two directories, but now I’m getting this when trying to access the blog:

Warning: require(/home/lefty/public_html/bookish/wp-includes/classes.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/lefty/public_html/bookish/wp-settings.php on line 68

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/lefty/public_html/bookish/wp-includes/classes.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/lefty/public_html/bookish/wp-settings.php on line 68

I thought maybe I could replace just the admin folder, but that didn’t help either.

Got it working! Basically had to reinstall everything.

    Thanks!
