Is a good idea to use /%post_id%-%postname%/ URL's?
-
I was looking for SEO and performance, and I put this in the url settings /%post_id%-%postname%/ . So the ulr’s are myblog.com/35-my-post/
And It works fine, and if yo don’t put the correct title of the post it resolves it and redirect. myblog.com/35-my-xost/ redirect to myblog.com/35-my-post/.
But if you dont put the correct post-id and the post title is ok, it redirects to the correct url with the correct post-id too. And that make me think if using this method is good performance or not.
So it first searches for the post id, and only search for the title post if there’s no id match, or it always searches for post id and pots title and there’s no perfromance at all.
Thanks.
