Magazine Basic – author name not displayed in the front page

I just upgraded Magazine Basic to 2.7.2 and have opposite problem – I disabled author name display on front page, but it still shows the name.

Even though version nrs are same, you have opposite problems

I just did some test and really there is something wrong in code – as by checking/unchecking Display Author name on front page it shows/hides post date instead of author name.

People were complaining about it before

I have just found the culprit. Date and Author codes are working the opposite way i.e. if you enable date, author will show and vice-versa.

Just found the same too. Will leave it as temporary solution till next release.
