BigBlueButton desktop sharing & upload presentation

    Hello, I have setup a bigbluebutton server and it is working perfectly, recently I created a website on another server using wordpress and installed the bigbluebutton plugin.. everything worked smoothly.. BUT!

    When I login into a bigbluebutton meeting via the bbb plugin integrated into my new website the desktop sharing and upload presentation icons do not appear in the bbb web interface ?? so no one can upload a file or share his desktop ??

    But when I try to login directly to the bbb server web interface (using the IP of the bigbluebutton server and not via the plugin in the my new website) all the modules work and the icons for desktop sharing and upload presentation are visible.. which means that bigbluebutton is not the cause of the problem..

    Please advice what could be the reason of this problem and how to fix it.. Thanks ??

  • Sounds like you are entering room as a participant and not moderator.. Make sure the password for moderator and participant are different.
