This comes as a suprise maybe, but Jetpack is incompatible with W3 Total Cache.
    I’ve noticed this behavior:
    – when both plugins are installed and I press the publish button in an article, instead of getting the post published message and the corresponding link I get a blank page with one request and a 500 browser response code.
    – if I disable jetpack everything goes back to normal.

Try disabling both plugins, then enabling and activating Jetpack, then activating W3TC and purging all of your caches.

Annoying that it matters I know, but W3TC is a really powerful caching plugin that goes to extreme measures to make sure everything is as efficient as possible, and it’s hard to predict exactly what it might be holding on to that would cause this issue.

Thanks for the reply! Tried what you suggested but it didn’t work. Since I can use the google analytics for now, I will wait for updated versions for both plugins.

I’m not able to duplicate this issue with recent releases of either plugin on shared hosting.
