    Hi,
promotion slide is a really great plugin, but I have the problem, that if I’m clicking forward to the next slide or using the numbers, after a short time the slider begins to rush through all my slides. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Are you sure the slider isn’t just catching up to all your clicks? I would be glad to take a look if you have a link…

I’m using firefox, but also with Opera or Google Chrome this problem occured.
The Slider Time Delay is set to 10 seconds.
(To see the bug, please be a little patient, it takes arout 5 clicks and after that maybe 5 seconds.)

Disable your ‘Dynamic Content Gallery Plugin’ and see if that fixes the issue. This plugin is loading some javascript that is throwing an error and probably messing with the way the Promotion Slider works.

I disabled this plugin but problem isn’t fixed. I also disabled some other plugins, but this didn’t work either.

Hmm… to narrow things down here is what you should do:

    1. Disable all plugins except the slider
    2. Switch to the Twenty Ten theme.
    3. Test the slider. If the issue still persists, it is probably the plugin itself.
    4. If the problem disappeared, activate your existing theme again and check the slider.
    5. If the problem still doesn’t show back up, activate the plugins one at a time until you find the culprit.

On rare occasions, I have found that an interaction of two other plugins can interfere with a third plugin. Code can be an interesting beast…

If you notice any patterns in the slider’s abnormal operation, that can be helpful as well… if it isn’t a plugin / theme interaction issue.

    Hi,
I followed your constructions, and the problem existed also when i disabled all my plugins. I have a second blog and it has nearly the same theme, but there the plugin works properly. I will reinstall the plugin because i changed something at the css-style, maybe i messed something up.

Thank you for your help so far!

    Hello,
just wanted you to know, that when i disable “Pause Slider on Mouse Hover”, everything works!

I have exactly the same problem as Kilsen experienced and this problem is fixed only by disablining “pause slider on mouse hover” option.
Is there anyway we can enable it and make this plugin works properly?

Other than that, this plugin is really great! thanks!

I have this on my list of things to look into. If anyone sees why this is happening exactly, feel free to let me know!

Same here. Disabling the pause on hover fixed mine. Using thematic 0.97 wordpress 3.2

Awesome plugin! I almost had to buy the slider deck for $99 bucks.
You saved me! Ill be donating! Thanks

Same problem here, but disabling “pause on hover” didn’t solve it. Fresh install of plugin on WordPress 3.2.1.

Weirdly, it seems that the problem appears only after the slider has been running for some time while I was on another tab of my browser… If I just stay on the slider page & let it run, nothing happens. (Google Chrome & Firefox both).

When I come back to the page, all the slides are flashing at the same time & overlapping, and after a cycle or two things go back to normal.

Same problem as lovings. Fresh install too, and no more plugins on it.

anyone knows anything about how to solve it?

    thank you in advance!
