• Every time I upload a picture, it will upload and then give me this error:

Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/var/tmp/phpFPPbpn) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/gleeful:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/gleeful/public_html/blog/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2402
    1145

The pictures do upload but it displays the error. The problem just started when I installed this version of wordpress.

I was told that there was an open_basedir restriction in effect and that I needed to contact my host about it. Then this is what my host told me:

“You are trying to upload to the folder /var/tmp/phpFPPbpn/ which is outside your directory of /home/gleeful/.
You will not be able to access that directory, to correct the problem direct your script to try to write to a folder inside your directory.”

I have no idea what to do now. Please help!
