[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] NextGen slideshow images stretched – but only in IE

I have the plugin installed on my WP site, its working perfectly everywhere, except on all versions of internet explorer.

When the slideshow loads, the initial image loads correctly, however all secondary images appear stretched and cropped.

I have searched the forums but cannot seem to find an answer to this issue, has anyone found a solution?
