Base Domain Works, Subdomain link does NOT

Is there something I am missing here? I can’t get to the dashboard of the subdomain to set a theme or anything.

I followed everything under the create a network codex page and that was smooth.

Set up the new site and now I cannot get to it at all. Is this a wildcard issue? My host says they can see the setting I made in the cpanel that updated the httpd.config file and they are checking my DNS zones.

Anything else I’m missing???
