[MagicMembers] Shortcodes Not Working

    Hello,

    I own and operate a web business, and am hoping someone can please get back to me about the Magic Members plug-in. I have purchased.

    To receive a private text area – it says to add shortcodes of [private]text[/private] into a post.

    I have followed along exactly to the instruction manual, and have watched videos – have done everything correctly – but for some reason the shortcodes are NOT working.

    WP3.1, PHP5, etc. I have all the latest software/database versions etc.

    Can anyone suggest ways to make Magic Members work?

    I also have a concern that the log-in box, although provided by a widget – is not working where someone can log in with a user name and password. Instead, I just see text, even when I am logged in/logged out.

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

  • I use Magic Members version 1.6 and all works perfectly.

    We are using Magic Members latest version (with unlimited license) with eWay payment gateway for 3 months. Magic Members failing to update some members and their credit card charged by eWay. When members can not login they try to renew the account and Magic Members billing them for the second time. Magic Members tech support pretending to be trying to resolve this. But after three months we still have customers calling in and Magic Members failed to update their accounts while eWay billed their credit cards. When their plugin working with Credit Cards, they should be more careful than this. Magic Members fooling businesses who purchased license for the software. Promising something they can not offer. I do not recommend Magic Members for paid services.
