Remove default 'post' post type

  • Hiya –

    I’m creating a website using wordpress as a CMS with a few different custom post types for different types of content.

    What I’d like to know is how to remove, unregister or at least re-name the default post type (current called ‘posts’).

    Have anyone done this or know how?
