• Hi,

is the plugin compatible with WP3.1? Also, where can I see a demo of how it looks?

    Thanks,

At this time I can’t call it compatible with 3.1, only up to 3.0.5.

I am testing a version at PhotographyBlogSites.com where I develop it and will release a new 3.1 version when it is ready.

Lots of demos of what is possible with this plugin on our demo sites at PhotographyBlogSites…

Demos look great. When is it likely that you will release the 3.1? I am pressed to choose a portfolio solution very soon and I am seriously considering this one.

Also, how about integration with Facebook Like and open graph for sharing individual images? Would it be possible?

I can’t promise any timeline right now. The priority has to be making it work for PhotographyBlogSites. Getting a version that works for everyone is work on top of that and when I get a version that works, I release it. But at the free price level it is hard to put much time into it beyond what we need at PhotographyBlogSites. ?? In fact there are some features we use there, like a full screen viewer that resizes to fit any monitor that I may never be able to include in the repository version.

The facebook like buttons might be a good idea and I might include that if/when I ever do a major overhaul of the plugin. But I have always had this thought as well… I feel like it is a better strategy to include a like button on the gallery page and get a lot of people to like it as a whole, rather than split up all those likes per image. 20 images throughout the site that are liked once does not seem as powerful to me as one gallery page that is liked 20 times. So even if I were to add that, I might just do it per gallery or try to plug into an existing like button plugin.
