Your file size upload is controlled by two variables in php.ini

upload_max_file_size and post_max_file_size

You need to change them

How do I change them? Do I actually go to the actual file in the directory and change it?

You need to find your PHP.INI file and edit it.

If you can’t, ask your host for help.

I found the file but I’m not sure how to go about editing it. I don’t really understand what I’m looking at

Upload your videos to their own directory (maybe name it “video”, or whatever is good for you) using your ftp client and serve them from there. If you must have them appear in the media library, you can try importing them using this plugin. Add From Server

What code should I use to embed them into the page?

For self hosted videos you will probably want a player/plugin solution. There are many to choose from.
