[Plugin: WP Photo Album Plus] Can slideshow stop when photo in film strip is clicked?
-
First of all, your plug-in is excellent. I sent you a donation earlier today. Thanks!
In playing around with the settings, I found a couple of issues and ideas.
1. Condition: Have a album on a page that loads as a slideshow (e.g. %%wppa%% %%slide=1%%). In the settings, select only “Browse photos bar” and “Filmstrip navigator”. Have the slideshow start automatically. Effect: When the slide show loads, the prev / next links are shown. When you click on one of the links, the timing of the slides becomes faster for every other slide.
This appears to be a bug. My thought is that once a prev / next link is clicked, the slideshow should stop. A bonus would be a link that then appears to “Resume Slideshow”. ??
Let me know if you want to see an example of this issue, as I had to turn off the “Start/stop slideshow bar” option as a workaround to the timing issue.
2. I would like to request a feature. When someone clicks on a photo in the filmstrip, show that photo. If this is done during a slideshow, stop the slideshow at the same time. Same bonus – if the slideshow was stopped, then show a link that then appears to “Resume Slideshow”. ??
Note: I use the Chrome browser (latest released version).
Here is the slideshow as it appears with the workaround (note that I changed the order of items in wppa_theme.php (copied).

Thanks again.
