[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Upload directory error

    Hello,

    I am getting the following error on the Dashboard page (at the top and highlighted in red):

    “WordPress didn’t return a valid path to your upload directory, please make sure your upload path is set correctly”

    I have entered “wp-content/uploads” into the “Store uploads in this folder” field under Settings > Media. I can confirm that this folder is present and have tried changing permissions from 755 to 777 but still get the error.

    Please let me know why I am getting this error. Thank you.

    In Settings > Media
    Uncheck “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders”
