• I see I am unable to edit css in existing themes. All I really wanted to do is change font color in h1, h2, h3 tags and re-arrange a couple font styles. Is this possible? In the css edit dialog I added some code but wasn’t able to get it to work.

  • I have run into this problem on various hosts. In these cases it has been a file permissions problem, so it appears that I can make the change, but I can’t actually save the changes. I have used FTP to log into the site, look at the files, and change the file permissions to something more “lax”, then I can save it. As an example, if the permission on the style.css file was 644, I might have to loosen it to, say, 755. Then, to be safe, you can reset the permissions to the original setting.

When this doesn’t work, sometimes I’ve had to download the file (again, with FTP), edit it, and upload again. Inconvenient, but will work, even if you don’t change file permissions at all.

    Hope that helps.
