Get Variables From Post Permalink?

  • Hi,

    say I have a post permalink that looks like /sue-hayday-and-ben-johnson/, or even /susan-ann-henderson-and-bob-carr/.

    Now, let’s say I want to get the names from the permalink that are to the left and right of -and-.

    How can I do this? I know there should be a way of using php to filter out the characters and ‘and’ within the permalink, but I have yet to find the answer.

    Hope someone can help!
