    Hi There,

Recently, my wordpress site has started throwing errors at me when i try to upload media content to posts etc. Sometimes i’ll get an error saying that the file can’t be moved, others it will upload the file but corrupt it along the way.

This morning’s example is failing when i try to upload a 472kB pdf file, the file is being uploaded but when i try to view the file, i get the error ‘Expecting a dict object’ and the document won’t display…

These file upload errors are a recent addition to my site, something i’d like ot fix..

If someone could please point me in the right direction to finding a solution to this issue, i’d be most appreciative ??

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.
