[Plugin: JQuery Accordion Menu Widget] Strange Behavior on IE 8

There seems to be some issues with this accordion widget in IE8. Sometimes it auto-opens, and the movement is overall jerky. Surprisingly the widget works better in IE7
I tried the accordion on jQuery UI and did not experience any problems. Are there other users have these issues with IE 8?
